Lee's obituary
Lee passed away January 18, 2021 in Racine, Wisconsin. She came into this life January 10, 1951 in Summit-Argo, Illinois to the union of Louis Callahan and Ardelia Stokes. The yongest child and only girl in a family of five brothers. Lee confessed Christ at a young age at her family church Shiloh Missionary Baptist in Argo. In 1967 she joined in marriage Otha Ray Manning Sr. Four children were born to this union. Otha Ray Manning Jr.(Arleana), James Manning(Daneen) , Nedra Taylor (Jimmie) and Marvin Manning (Tanya). This union lasted 9 years. She later bore two more children Will Manning (Symone)and Christina Manning.
Lee later in 1990 joined in union with Herbert Johnson who preceeded her in death April 13, 2013.
Lee enjoyed taking care of others and she made that her lifes work as a CNA at Salem Villiage nursing home in Joliet Illinois until health issues caused to take leave after 13 years.
Lee was proceeded in death by her parents Louis and Ardelia Callahan, her brothers Henry, James, Micheal, Clifton and William.
She is also proceeded in death by her husband Herbert Johnson Jr. and two grandchildren Destini and India.
Services for Lee will be Sunday January 31st at Range Funeral Home in Joliet, Illinois with burial to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.
