LeDonna lived a life with a heart of dreams. She had a thirst for knowledge of her world living vicariously through books and movies. Her favorites subjects were romance, westerns and history. Along with books and as a proud Italian woman she became incredibly involved in her Genealogy. Through the countless hours exploring her genre of family she connected with others of mutual research interests, sharing her knowledge of the Quadara’s, Umina’s, Flamminio’s and Maldonado families.
LeDonna had an episodic memory and was skilled at telling stories. She frequently recounted tales from her life history and spoke fondly of the individuals she had encountered over the years. Her cherished memories included being a lifelong supporter of the Los Angeles Dodgers, spending time at the Hacienda Heights softball fields, dancing, reminiscing about the Nuns and friends at Sacred Heart of Mary, and meeting a few movie stars. Those who were part of her life naturally became part of her narrative. Each story she shared was conveyed with pride and joy.
