She was an artist, she loved to cook, she loved music (Aaron Neville was her favorite artist), but more importantly she LOVED her family.
Leatrice is survived by her husband David Wayne Sampson Sr, her children David Wayne Sampson Jr., daughter Lela Sampson, and granddaughter Hayden Marie Jean Turner. She leaves to cherish in her memory seven siblings: four sisters [Beatrice Coleman, Rhonda Chaission, Florence Breaux and LeAnna Rubin] and three brothers [Bradley Bazile, Bruno Bazile and Benjamin Bazile], her god children Reginald Rubin (TX), Lolitha Leblanc (LA) and Kimberly White (AZ), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Leatrice is preceded in death by her parents Lela and Edward Bazile, sister Martha Leblanc and brother Bradford Bazile.
Leatrice made the decision to opt out of having a traditional ceremony. Instead, she made the decision to be cremated and wished for her family to LOVE, LIVE & ENJOY LIFE.
