It is with a heavy heart  we announce the passing of Leanne C. Williams(Sanford), a shining beacon of love, care, and happiness in our lives. Born on February 19, 1958, she was called home to heaven on July 23, 2023.

Leanne leaves behind her son, David (Lyla) Sanford Horace, ND, two daughters Terra Juarez, and Jami Mullan  Los Lunas, NM.   She was a guiding light, and the embodiment of unwavering strength to them. She was the beloved sister of Jean Grubbs and Michelle Peterson, whose lives were woven tightly with hers. She was blessed to have 9 Grandchildren and 4 Great -Grandchildren who she loved and adored deeply.  She joined her predeceased parents, Fern(Formo)and Russell (Bill) Sanford, her siblings Laurie Sauer(Sanford), Russell Sanford and special friend Mitchell Olig in the realms of eternity.

The sun will shine a little less brightly for those who knew and loved Leanne. Whether it was through her favorite romance novels, or her love for games like Pinnacle, Yahtzee, and Trivia Pursuit, Leanne touched everyone around her.

Leanne cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, making their happiness her cause. 

Leanne will be laid to rest having a Graveside Memorial at Big Pembina Cemetary, Pembina, ND on September 2, 2023 at 10:30 AM following, with a Celebration of Life for family and friends at 5:30 PM at the Lutheran Church of the Cross in West Fargo, ND

Leanne's incredible zest for life was infectious.  A more precious gift, a more cherished memory, and a more loved woman, we could not have asked for. Leanne, you were, are, and always will be, deeply loved and missed.
