Leanne's obituary
In loving memory of Annie, who peacefully passed away surrounded by family at the Hamilton General Hospital. Survived by her beloved son, Jacob Lomoth, daughter August Marques (Lanni), and grandson Theodore Ambroz. She will be forever held dear in the hearts of her parents, Susan and Gary Weatherston, her sisters Laura and Cheryl (Mike), Aunt Nancy Kott, Uncle Dave, and Uncle John, as well as cousins Jason and Mike (Heather) Beale. She was an aunt to Brandon, Courtney, Jamie Jo, and Justin.
Annie had a deep bond with the world, filled with love for all creatures. Animals were naturally drawn to her wherever she went, from raccoons and foxes to skunks, cats, dogs, and even a pig. Her compassion for nature radiated brightly whenever you were near her.
Her smile and infectious laughter had the power to illuminate even the darkest of spaces. Amidst all challenges, Annie found gratitude and a reason to smile, a lesson we can all embrace as we celebrate her memory.
Annie's passing, though unexplained, serves as a reminder of her remarkable strength and courage throughout life's challenges. She was a radiant soul, her warmth and love touching all who knew her. Despite her struggles, Annie embraced life with strength, finding moments of triumph amidst the darkness.
Though Annie's journey on this earth has come to an end, her legacy of love, strength, and compassion will continue to inspire those who were privileged to know her. May her memory be a beacon of light in the darkness, guiding us forward with love and hope.
Annie's kindness lives on through her gift of life, donating her kidneys and liver to save three lives. The doctors, nurses, and medical teams in ICU will not be forgotten. The Trillium Gift of Life nurses, medical staff, and social workers treated Annie with the care and respect she deserved.
Rest in peace and travel the universe, dear Annie. You will be deeply missed, but your spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by your grace.
Until you knock on my door again, I will not ask who is it.
