Leann's obituary
We mourn the loss of Leann K. Deschner, age 71, born on March 11, 1954, in Mansfield, Ohio and whose life journey concluded on June 25, 2025 at home from heart failure.
Leann was a down-to-earth person possessing a friendly demeanor that etched her into the hearts of many. She displayed incredible strength and willpower throughout her life, teaching us that despite our obstacles and challenges, persistence enables us to live life to its fullest.
Leann loved to people watch and she often enjoyed the community and solace in her favorite local spots, the YNot Cycling bike shop and the bench at the local bike trail. The color orange, much like her personality, was bright, cheerful, and appealed to her the most.
Among her many achievements, Leann took pride in her independence, despite the adversities she faced. Her story is a testament to her strength and is an inspiration for those who knew her.
She is survived by her nieces, Karin Arthur, Jennifer Jenkins, her nephew Aaron Price, and brother Gary Deschner. Predeceased by her beloved parents Helen G Deschner and Peter H Deschner, and her sister Rebecca S Price, Leann leaves behind an aura of strength, determination, and resilience.
Leann's life was a beautiful testament of endurance and willpower, and her lessons and memories will continue to be carried and cherished in the hearts of those she left behind. Rest in peace, dear Leann, your spirit endures in our memories.
