My mom was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma a few years ago and was being treated by the cancer team at LBJ Hospital, she was shortly after transferred into the care of M.D Anderson Cancer Center where she found out she had Leukemia. She battled with that for a full year when she went into remission. A few months after going into remission, she found out that the cancer had returned and in a more aggressive form. She had insurance, but due to her policy being a few months short of two years, the insurance company will not pay out the policy. They will give us the money that she paid toward the policy, but they won't pay for the funeral expenses. My siblings and I want to be able to send our mother home in a nice way.
