Personal note from Leah's Family

Dear Friends & Family,

In this time of profound loss, we are overwhelmed by the immense love and support we've received from our community and friends. Losing Leah has left a void in our hearts, but the memories we've shared and the kindness we've been shown have been a beacon of light in the darkness.

Reflecting on our time with her, we realize how truly fortunate we were to have such an incredible woman in our lives as well as how lucky our grandchildren have been to have a Gi Gi like her. Her unwavering love, boundless kindness, and passionate advocacy for the community have left an indelible mark on our lives and the lives of so many others. She truly was everyone's mom.

The support we've received from each of you has been nothing short of extraordinary. Your heartfelt words, shared stories, and comforting gestures have provided solace during this difficult time.

As we honor her memory, we are reminded of her deep commitment to the Jonathan Trumbull Library. It was a place she cherished deeply, and supporting it was one of her greatest joys. In tribute to her legacy, we encourage you to consider donating to the library. Your contribution, whether through stories, photos, or financial support, will ensure that her passion for literacy continues to touch the lives of our community.

We will be hosting a celebration of life and calling hours, and we would be deeply honored to have those who wish to attend join us and will greatly miss those unable to be with us in person however we know you are there in spirit. It will be a time to share cherished memories, celebrate her remarkable life, and find solace in each other's company.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your unwavering kindness and support during this time of grief. Your presence in our lives has been a true blessing.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Brooke, Dylan, and Dick
