Happy Universal birthday Leah. We miss you <3
We remember Leah well at the U of MN Dance Program where she accompanied classes on her violin and electronics. It was a beautiful supportive sound that she shared so easily and confidently. The same beautiful sound that I heard every time I saw one of the many she played with. Her music and her calm, collaborative and expressive presence is deeply missed.
Happy heavenly birthday Leah you are loved, remembered and missed by many!! You touched so many lives in many ways ❤️

I really appreciated her passion & love of music. I also really cherished how excited she got when we discussed the impact of music on different communities. She was involved in various activities helping under represented & how to help further. So Inspiring! I always left our interactions feeling good about myself & the world because she was a part of it. Rest in Power Lott!

My deepest sympathy on the loss of your beautiful daughter, sister, niece, grand daughter, cousin. Leah leaves a huge void in our Twin Cities music community. She was loved and needed by so many. What a gift she shared with us all.
We are so sorry for the loss of Leah. Our hearts and prayers are with you. We are filled with sorrow but we have this incredible hope of our eternal lives with Jesus our Lord. May he wrap his loving arms around all of you right now.
I am so sorry Aunt Mary , Uncle Tom and family. Leah was my sidekick and partner in crime for 18 years. She was the best friend and cousin a girl could ask for. Thinking of you all at this time
I met Leah when she and Willow band mates would come through Madison and stay at my home. Started as a friend of a friend deal. I was tickled and honored that they could have a welcoming Madison resting place. When they stayed, Leah left behind what I call, love notes. It helped me know her a little bit more. I cherish them and the memory of her spirit, talent and humor. I have friends who call me LeLe, also. ❤️that we shared that, also. I remember a time when they were playing at Memorial Union. Yo-Yo Ma was playing in the adjacent Union Theater. Sometime in the night, Leah and Hilary slipped away to get a listen/ watch. They were happy and that made me happy.
Love, prayers, and our deepest condolences to the Ottman family. Leah will be greatly missed by us all. May she Rest In Peace with her eternal father🙏
I am so heartbroken to hear this news. Leah was such a beautiful soul. I had a bad dream about your family two weeks ago and didn’t understand it. But now I think it’s God’s way of telling me I should share my memories of Leah. She was always so sweet and friendly growing up. I remember seeing her in a talent show as kids and I was so struck by her fierce passion and love for playing the violin and her talent at such a young age was astounding. A couple years ago I received a FB invite from Leah to come to her performance at Barbettes. I hadn’t seen her in many years and remembered how talented she was so was very excited to hear her music. I went with my friend, Michael, and he has never forgotten her performance because of how moved he was by her talent and he’s brought it up in conversation several times since. She had such a beautiful and unique voice and she handled the violin as though it was a part of her. Her performance was elegant and everyone in the restaurant was silently watching and listening to her. In the middle of the performance our eyes met and I saw that she recognized me. Her face lit up and she stopped playing and said “Jessica! Oh my gosh, thank you so much for coming!” She took a break and came over to hug me and it was so much fun to catch up and find out how she was doing with her music. We told her how much we loved her voice and her songs were so unique and beautiful. I was always looking for another solo performance that I could go to and told my sisters and mom that they all had to see her because she was so much fun to watch and listen to perform. Leah will be missed by so many. Sending all my love and prayers to her family ❤️
Leah was a beautiful young lady. My daughter Jessica and Jennifer saw Leah perform. Leah saw them and stopped playing and went to say hi and gave them a hug. Leah's music is beautiful. Praying for Leah and her entire family. Rest in peace. God Bless!! Praying!
Mary: Remembering how you played her music for me and I was so amazed. Prayers for Leah and the entire Ottman family. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord.
