Background
Our dear sister, mother, and friend Leah cared deeply for her friends and family, always ready with a smile or quick to offer a hand or an ear to others when needed.
Unfortunately, Leah suffered through some rough final years in her shortened lifetime, and a lot more recent poor luck with a number of health issues that came on and prevented her from working any sort of job, and in the end nearly debilitating her entirely. With these hardship trials she couldn't seem to overcome and the timing of her unexpected death, the circumstance left her with basically nothing but the roof over her head. She had only the barest means of getting by, often with her basic needs being met with the help of friends and family. Sadly, she passed without any life insurance or savings whatsoever to cover her final end-of-life expenses.
She was so very proud and hated to ever ask for help, understandably... but had to do so many times it seems. Now with her untimely death, urgent costs have arrived that we as a family and friends who loved her, need some extra help in helping her for one last time.
Leah wanted the bare minimum when it came to her final wishes, only that she be cremated and her ashes spread or put with the grave site of her (our) deceased parents.
We are asking if anyone reading this heartfelt message, and our plea for any assistance on her behalf could pitch in any amount you could spare to help cover her basic final costs to meet her only end-wish. Her cremation services fees are needed "up front" ASAP in order to proceed.
This is hard for us to ask for, but it's done with love in my heart and with an effort to try and bring some peace of mind to her son and help put her sweet spirit to rest.
Words can't express the outpouring of love and care so many have expressed to our family and to Leah's son Chase, in this time of grief. We love and appreciate all who have called, commented, and shown up with a hand, concern, and words of love for her and all our family. Know that the kindness shown to us has touched our hearts and given us comfort during this difficult time.
Thank you with the greatest great appreciation to any and all who can contribute and might also share this request for a little help on her behalf.
