It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Layla "Lae" Weeks, who left us too soon on December 24, 2023. Born on May 29, 2000, Layla was a light in every life she touched. Despite her untimely passing, she lived a full and vibrant life, notably described by her loved ones as the 'Life of the party'.

Layla is fondly remembered as a jovial, kind-hearted soul, who brought comfort to all who knew her. Her accomplishments were a testament to her versatile personality and zest for life. She found her true passion in becoming a beautician, where she was able to express her creativity and bring joy to her clients. Being an aunt allowed her to express her caring and nurturing side, and her recent engagement to her partner Chrisjen Eby was a significant milestone she cherished deeply.

Layla leaves behind an impactful legacy and will be deeply missed by sister Angelica Moreno and Sabrina Moreno, brother Caden Harris, Aunt Christal Elan Davis , Coleen Williams , Grandparents Rena Charles Weeks, partner Chrisjen Eby, great Grandmother Frances Aguilar, and Grandfather Ernest Aguilar.

Layla is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Ernestine Aguilar, father Charles Alan Weeks jr Grandmothers Marian Weeks, Ursula Mendez, and Valerie Williams, Grandfather Ernest Aguilar, and Aunts Frances, Charlene Williams, and Margaret Aguilar. Our hearts go out to them, as they reunite in another realm.

Layla's life was a testament to the adage 'Live each day like it's your last'. She will forever be remembered for her spontaneous spirit, loving nature, and the happiness she spread wherever she went. Layla "Lae" Weeks, you will forever hold a special place in our hearts..
