My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Layla.  I saw her name in the latest retiree DPS News and remembered her as a kind and pleasant person during my interaction with her at DPS some years back.  I feel blessed to have crossed paths with her.  May the great memories you all have of her bring you comfort.  Linda Prosperie
I am so sorry to find out Layla has passed. I worked with her in the late 90's and we shared many a laugh. She surely went on to lead an incredible life.
Condolences from the nurses who took care of Layla, we’re so sorry for your loss. Layla was wonderful and kind. We are so honored to have spent that small amount of time with her.
Dear Friend, miss you every day and I will carry you in my heart always. Wherever you are, may there be unlimited books for your reading and unlimited trails for your hiking.

Amanda and Jessica, my heart aches for you two. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Much love!

I am so sorry to hear about Layla's passing. We got to know each other as coworkers at Texas DPS ICT. I will miss her.

I never got to meet my sister Marylin’s daughter Layla Mahan. I look at her picture and see a lot of myself. I know one day we will meet in heaven and have a joyful time with Jesus. I love Layla’s sisters Amanda and Jessica. They really mean a lot to me. I know Layla and I would hit it off and become very close. My sister would be so proud of the girls. They have become great women and are loved by all.  To you girls Amanda and Jessica your Aunt Lana and Uncle are here for you both
