Lawrence's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lawrence "Larry" "Targaryens" Prince, who left us too soon on December 3, 2024. Born February 17, 1984, Larry found joy in the simple things of life and spread an infectious laughter wherever he went.
Larry is survived by his sons Mother, Stacy Mccarthy, and their two sons, Collin Mccarthy and Clinton M, and Aiden Mccarthy his sons brother whom he also raised and considered his own. Their deep-rooted bond will serve as a foundation for continuing Larry's legacy. He also leaves behind his grandmother, Liliane Prince, his siblings Lisa and Jimmy Prince, alongside his brother Timothy Prince, aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews all of whom deeply mourn his loss.
Predeceased by his grandfather, Lawrence Prince, his father, Jimmy Prince, and his mother, Ginger Bannister, we take comfort knowing that they have reunited in eternal peace.
When he wasn't working at Gilligans Seafood restaurant. The many joys in Larry's life, he was an avid fan of the Carolina Gamecocks, found reprieve in playing video games, and most importantly, loved spending time with his kids. Known for his humor, being a workaholic, and his persistent determination, Larry was more than just a friend; he was a beacon of hard work, love, and acceptance.
Larry had a penchant for all things food, cooking, with an even better taste for Fireball, Sparks, and Mt Dew. His vibrant character will be remembered through his teachings: to look past people's mistakes, helping others, and to persist when dedicated to a cause or loved one.
Larry's accomplishments are many, but he considered his greatest to be his children and his service in the US Army. A legacy of kindness and generosity is what he leaves behind. To know Larry was to love him. He was a man who made it his life's mission to help anyone in need.
Larry's passing has saved him from the pain of liver failure, but his absence will be deeply felt by family, friends, and those fortunate to have known him. His two sons carry his legacy, ensuring that his kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit live on.
In lieu of flowers, we request that you carry forward Larry's lessons of forgiveness, persistence and love. He will be missed, but the impact he made on our lives will forever be cherished.
