Lawrence's obituary

Our beloved father Lawrence "Larry" Williams, 85, of Cloverdale, CA, peacefully passed away at his home on May 29, 2025.

Lawrence was born on April 16th, 1940 to Evelyn Keogh (Brown) and Walter Henry Williams in Oakland, California. After graduating from Analy High School (Sebastopol, CA) in 1958, he married his High School sweetheart, Marjorie Alta Beckman. After several jobs in the restaurant sector, Lawrence landed a job at OCLI in Santa Rosa, CA where he dutifully worked for approximately 30 years. He was in several roles at OCLI before retiring as a Machinery Mechanic at the age of 63.  Lawrence was a fun & loving father to his 3 children; Brenda, Becky & Leonard, a proud grandfather of 6, and great grandfather of 6. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world. Lawrence was also a dog lover and had many come and go over his lifetime. Lawrence loved being outdoors &  enjoyed camping, fishing, & flying his airplanes to airshows. He also was passionate about restoring old vehicles, repairing cars and trucks, boats and airplanes. Anyone who knew Lawrence knew that he was the most loving father, husband grandfather, & great grandfather a family could ask for. Lawrence was predeceased by his mother Evelyn Keogh (Brown) and father Walter Henry Williams, and brother Ron Williams. He is survived by Marjorie Comarell (Beckman), Brenda Reed (Williams), Tory Reed, Elliot Reed, Owen Reed, Ashley Reed, Becky Woods (Williams), Randy Woods, Jaspar Woods,  Leonard Williams, Amanda Williams, Zoey Williams, Hailey Madden (Williams), Maddox Madden, Hendrix Madden, & Isabella Madden.
