"As you go through your life you meet and come in contact with many people. In my life and experiences in restaurant and nightclub businesses, I have met my share. Some I would like to remember, but more I can let go. From those I put some on my list. I give them all the benefit of the doubt, but to be on top I have criteria, at the very top would be Skip. Skip had his ups and downs good and bad; never did he need or ask for anyone to solve his problems or lift him up. Skip did not live his life to impress anyone or feed his ego, he was just "Skip" and that was Skip. He worked harder than most and accomplished more than most. A successful engineer, author, husband and friend. His ultimate and avoidable passing is a loss not only to his his wife, family and friends, but a loss to all. My only regret is that I was not able to spend more time with Skip. I guess it is true what they say "only the good die young". Please rest in peace."
