I do not have a specific memory…but my family will never forget the kindness you showed us during a very difficult time. When I was about 10, we stayed with the Ballinger’s for a period of time…I actually do remember playing hide and seek inside Lavenial’s house and sitting under her grand piano…it is a lovely memory amid a hard circumstance. A time in which the love of Christ was shared with us in a very real and tangible way. Thinking about it now blesses my spirit, because that is how Christ draws us to himself, through his love. I will never forget how you shared that with us. My heart mourns for you all. You will be in our prayers….to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. May the Lord bless you and keep you, may he shine His face upon you, and give you peace. Please let us know if you need anything…

As a child you knew me as Toni Miller…just for reference.

I was one of Lavenial’s calligraphy friends, but I also got together with her to play music. We would sit at her grand piano and play duets, our fingers bumping as we made beautiful music, such fun! I remember her home, decorated in cranberry, and her cute dogs. And then there was her - always dressed to the nines, shining her light inside and out. I moved in 2006 and haven’t seen her since, but the posted pictures show she is just as beautiful. I’m sure she is wrapped in the arms of God at the end of her suffering.
