FEBRUARY 17, 1962 – DECEMBER 29, 2021

 Laurie Thomas, age 59, of Auburn, Maine passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at her residence. Laurie was born in Flint, Michigan on February 17, 1962 to Gabrielle (Vachon) and Lawrence Thomas. Most of Laurie’s growing –up years were in Auburn, Maine where she attended school there: she was even a cheerleader- every girls dream. Laurie was smart, talented, kind and generous hearted as well as had a sense of humor. Laurie was also a prayer warrior and many benefitted from her prayers. Laurie had a degree in Business and excelled in the banking industry. Her working excellence took her to work in Houston, Texas. She returned to Maine since her love for the four seasons was stronger than the heat of Texas. Laurie and her sister, Bonnie were instrumental in finding their brother, Bill through research. 

 Preceded in death are: Grandparents: Florence and Roland Vachon Mother Gabrielle, (Gaby) Thomas. And Cousin: Paula Vachon Survived Jenny, her service dog Her son, Matthew, Rachel, Lydia and anticipated twins. Brother, Bill and niece Valerie, and nephew Sam Sister Bonnie, Joe and niece Heather. Celebration of Life on Saturday Jan. 8, 2022, 1 pm at Lake Auburn Townhouse Apartments
