How you can help
Our beloved Laurie Schmidt--Loop Bee Strange--passed away on June 13, 2019 after a long fight with stage IV brain and lung cancers. As her friends and family know, she was incredibly passionate about bee conservation, music, and, most of all, her friends and family.
We are setting up this GoFundMe to fund the Laurie Ann Schmidt Revocable Living Trust, established to help settle her affairs and care for her son, Brad, after her passing. Laurie wanted to ensure Brad has the support he needs in this next stage of his life and to provide whatever guidance and services necessary moving forward.
Even though Laurie was sick for some time, the Juby family is still in shock over her passing. It is hard to understand how someone so bright, outgoing, and caring could no longer be in this world. Any support friends and family can provide during this time would be incredibly appreciated by her remaining family.
