Laurie, ever since I met you at rehab I knew you were something special. As time went on I found out that I was right. Starting with your beautiful smile, everything about you was amazing. I was sad when you moved away but it was best for you. Today would have been your birthday and I have thought about you all day. I think about you often and remember what a wonderful person you are. I have no doubt that you are at peace and probably doing "angel things". I have and never will forget you or stop thinking about you. May God Bless you in every way.
When we were kids I was always so envious of Laurie. She was so talented at so many things.  But she was also so very kind🌼 Wish we had lived closer - I know she will be missed by so many!  💖
My heart breaks for Laurie and her family. I met Laurie at rehab many years ago and she was one of the Purest, Sweetest people I have ever know. Everything about Laurie and her smile was so precious. Rest in peace my friend. You will forever be in my heart.

I was a nurse in the outpatient Lung Center at UPMC. Laurie was my patient and I truly loved her. She was such a special person. I know she is in the arms of Jesus,  or maybe running thru the meadow...with no oxygen and not short of breath.  My sincere sympathy to her family.
Laurie was a beautifully kind soul, i’ll never forget her and the light she brought into everyone’s lives. i’m so sorry to her family and close friends, this angel finally gained her wings.
