To Laurie's family. I am so sorry for your loss, I did not know this until now. I knew Laurie through her help with my daughter, Jessica, who sadly unexpectedly passed away 2 years ago. Laurie was a beautiful soul who struggled so much in life here on Earth, but she was a true person. I pray she has found peace. We spoke several times, and despite her hardships, she was always upbeat and positive with me. She was a good human being, and loved animals. She was a true and loving friend to my daughter when she needed a true and loving friend on her side. I like to think that they have found each other in Heaven.
Laurie spoke of her family with such love and admiration and I know she always wanted to move back to St. Louis.
This is what she wrote to after my daughter passed away:

Tracy and Family, I am so sorry for your loss of Jessica. She had a heart of gold and I loved her from the first time I met her. She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. My heart is broken as I know yours is as well. I pray Jessica has found the peace that eluded her in life. Her friend forever, Laurie
Bless you all. I pray for healing.
Tracy
