I think of Lauren always, I look at her picture or I see my memorial tattoo for her. In terms of what made Lauren different, was her smile, her vivaciousness for life, her sense of humor. What was most remarkable also- I had spent several days with her in the days leading up to her passing- was she had no fear at her passing, she was at perfect peace and joy and she was grateful for the blessings. In her final prayer with us, when she prayed, she did not pray for herself, she prayed for others, she prayed for the world. Miss you Lauren and can't wait to one day see you again! When my time comes I should hope and pray that I embrace with the same fearless courage and bravery and love. 

This came as a shock. Lauren (Sandie aa we knew her growing up) was always a force to be reckoned with. Larger than life even as a kid. Our dads were buds and our moms met each other thru them an were friends too. We spent time at picnics and our cottage. Condolences to her family, especially Gayle, alias Zing! Rest n laughter Lauren!

Lauren you will forever more be missed. I am incredibly grateful to have journeyed with you and know that I will see you one day again in Heaven. I am grateful to have prayed with you and remember the words of your prayer were not for yourself- but for your loved ones and for the whole world. Your life was a living testimony to your strength and faith, and when my day draws near, I hope to embrace it with love and joy, just as you did. Grateful for those you bonded me with in your passing, and Zing is now as my sister too. We love you always and forever! Love, Christie
