All my condolences to the family of Tom Harris we had a lot of fun working together, we started the HVAC service installation calculating loads repairs as well as helping the company maintain all the equipment no one knew how to help us so we helped the company. Tons of challenges from the time we started to the times we quit. We held many meetings with engineer's. technicians and company personnel and planners it was a great time.
I grew up across the street from Laurie. Laurie was the consumate "straight man" & relished the role of playing 'deaf & dumb' anytime we had company. I welcomed the opportunity to reciprocate anytime the Harris's had company. I last saw Laurie in the late 60's in Biloxi when Laurie was in ATC training & still cackle from some of the tales he told. The Harris's were great to have a neighbors while growing up. Being in ATC, I bet Laurie would recognize my email address as denoting a plane I flew for years.
Worked side by side with Tom at Thomas Hill Power Plant for 23 years as HVAC techs. Saw him last year at his home. Haf a long conversation. Lots of stories could be told.
