Laurance (Larry) Carlson, born September 8, 1935 passed away peacefully at his home in Escondido, California on May 31, 2020.

Larry was son of Laura and Burt Carlson of Columbia Falls, Montana. He graduated from Columbia Falls High School in 1953 and received both his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from the University of Montana and his Ph. D. from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.

Larry married Orpha Branstner in December 1958. She proceeded him in death in 2014. Larry is survived by three children, Scott Carlson, Laura Taylor (Don), and Maurice Carlson; five grandchildren, Travis Taylor (Stephanie), Felicia Muniz (Ryan), Shareen Lee (Mark), Nan Taylor and Susan Taylor; and ten great grandchildren.
