Laura's obituary
Laura Ann Wingard Tous
September 1966 – July 2025
Laura Ann Wingard Tous, 58, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away after a two-year battle with breast cancer.
Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Laura grew up in Chatsworth and Florence, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Jack Wingard and Dorothy (McCullic) Wingard, and the beloved sister of Jack Wingard (Galloway, NJ), James Wingard (Hudson, FL) and the late Mark Wingard. She graduated from BCIT in 1985.
Laura spent most of her life as a devoted stay-at-home mother. She found joy in going to church, reading her Bible, listening to gospel music — and yes, blasting Bon Jovi and Poison. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and serving others.
She is survived by her fiancée, Jorge Deleon, and her five children and their families: Marc Tous (Connie Tous) Iris, Callum, Alistair, and Ezra; Colby (Tous) Vidal (Joseph) Olive and Penelope; Tyler Tous; Makenzie Tous, Azai; Noah Tous
Laura had a heart for giving, and one of the most meaningful parts of her life was volunteering at Helping Hands Rescue Mission in Philadelphia — a tradition she began with her family during their childhood.
The family would also like to extend their deepest gratitude to her dear friend, Georgia Alberti, who lovingly cared for Laura during her illness. Georgia’s strength, compassion, and loyalty were a true blessing — she is nothing short of an angel on earth.
Memorial service details will be shared at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Helping Hands Mission in her honor.
