My condolences to the Salcedo Family. I have known Laura just for a short period of time when I was at CCHP. The first time I met her was in the lunchroom- she welcomed and greeted me with open arms (even though she wasn’t my manager). She always uplifted me and made me laugh with her stories and jokes. She had a heart of gold. I will definitely miss her.

Sending deep condolences to Laura’s family. As a friend of her nephew, I only had a couple handfuls of interactions with Laura, but I could always feel the deep love and bond between her and him as well as with all of the family, her children & husband, and especially with her sister, Lourdes. I am sorry the world is losing such a kind, loving soul and I am sending so much care to those who were closest to her. I hope you find some solace from leaning on one another and remembering all of the beautiful memories.

I was so sorry to hear about Laura's passing. She was such a kind hearted and caring person. I worked with Laura for many years, she was my boss but also a very dear friend. Laura was one of a kind, had a heart of gold I would tell her. Always was there when I needed her. I will truly miss her. My thoughts and prayers go to her whole family. Rest in paradise, Tootz.

So many fun memories made on summer vacations in San Gaspar, our visits to Oakland and L.A. as cousins are so close to my heart ❤️. I keep smiling about the time in San Gaspar when we performed and “sang” songs pretending we were the group ”Flans”, we were “Las Chicles” 🥹 primita con la misma sonrisa que siempre me dabas con mucho amor a si te recordare siempre.

Although I didn't know Laura for a long time, she had a deep impact on me from the start. She always had an open door, a kind heart, but most importantly an understanding soul. I will miss Laura every day, but will remember her message of courage. I am forever grateful to have met Laura and to have known her. God put her in my life at a time where she made a profound impact when it was needed. I will keep forever those precious memories. My heart breaks for her family at this very difficult time. At Contra Costa, I had the privilege of meeting Laura. When I initially saw her on my first day, all I wanted to do was give her a hug. I stopped as my arms reached for an embrace instead of a handshake and apologized, saying, "I'm sorry, I just wanted to give you a hug." She responded, "I love hugs!" "I'll take a hug from you," she said. I will always remember your hug! Thank you for having such a profound influence on me; you will be missed. She was the person who was understanding and compassionate. Just being around, her and witnessing her at work brought joy to everyone. My sympathies to her entire family.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Laura passing. She was not only remarkable leader but also a kind inspiring individual who touched the lives of many, Including me. I worked with her almost 14 months, she is awesome Boss ever. Thank you for everything.

Condolences to the whole family. I know how special Laura is to you. When I came to the hospital the Sunday before she passed away, I saw the whole family watching vigilant over her with so much care. She will be forever in your hearts and there are so many good memories to think about that will make you smile. Love to you all.
For me, I'm so glad Laura was a part of my life. I first met her because I worked at her job at PUD as a temp worker while she was pregnant with Diego. I loved sitting at her desk with all the colored pens and such order. I hope I didn't mess it up for her when she came back to work. About a year after PUD merged with UHC, I got to come on again as a temp working closely with Laura again. This continued for many years in which she was not only my boss lady, but also a close friend. I'm so grateful to have known her. She will be missed. There are so many fond memories.
