i just want to say thank you guys for setting this up for my mom. I miss going on walks with her, hanging out at her work, watching TV with her. she really loved nature and music, and she really loved her friends. She had a whimsicalness to her too.

Laura’s work was instrumental in bringing Basic Food Employment & Training statewide, and bringing other states onboard. What a wonderful legacy! I think of Laura often in our work. She was so smart!

A number of years ago Laura gave my family a hummingbird wind-chime. We always think of her when we see it dance in the wind. Thinking of you and miss you Laura.

Laura fought so hard for the fair treatment of all people, but especially so on behalf of those who didn't have agency. Her North Star shone so brightly and her words and actions aligned. She was a mighty force for good.
