Laura's obituary

On Saturday, October 1, 2022, Laura Jean Rienstra, loving wife and mother of three boys, passed away at the age of 57.

Laura was born on June 13, 1965 in Toledo, Ohio to Edward and Ruby Woods. The family lived in Whitehouse, Ohio until 1974 when they moved to Bradenton, Florida. Laura graduated from Bayshore High School in 1983. After which she worked a variety of jobs until she found her love of working in the Deli at Publix. Laura met Dwight Rienstra in 1986 and have three sons together, DJ, Dylan and Eddie, they also have three grandchildren, Conner, Paisley and Gemma. They were married for thirty two years.

Laura loved her family with every ounce of her being. Spending time with family to her was better then taking a trip around the world. Her other passions were music, Bob Dylan, Green day and Pink Floyd were her favorites. She loved to read, she could recite the majority of the Harry Potter series. Baking was another of her passions, especially pecan pie with her nephew Travis for holidays. And we can not forget the Ohio State Buckeyes!

She was also a huge advocate of Autism Awareness. She held it dear to her heart.

Laura is also survived by her three sisters, Susie, Joni and Amie, 4 brothers in law, one sister in law, Aunt Linda, Uncle Don, many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Laura had a free spirit and a gentle loving heart. She will be greatly missed.

There will be a memorial service at The DAV Chapter 18 (111 63 Avenue E. Bradenton) on Saturday October 8, 2022 at 1:00pm.
