Laura's obituary
Laura Letsinger, 59, of Loudon, TN, passed away on December 01, 2022 after an unfortunate battle with a brain aneurysm.
Laura was born on September 17th, 1961 to Wanda & Earl Raby in Knoxville, Tennessee. After graduating from Farragut High School in 1979, she went on to enroll for classes where she later became a nurse. After graduation, she landed her first job as at Fort Sanders Regional and worked her way to become an RN for where she stayed for almost 42 years. In 1981, she met Freddie Caldwell, and they wed in 1983, going on to have two children, Greg & Brandon Caldwell.
When Laura had Greg, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Laura excelled at propping up all three members of her immediate family and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Whether that was with Brandon and his creativity through art & music or Greg through his love for basketball, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others.
Laura was a passionate about life and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her bonus room framing pictures with stories attached for family & friends. We will miss her greatly.
Laura was predeceased by her parents Earl & Wanda Raby & sister Esther. She is survived by Joyce & Glenn Stephens, Kristi, Brian, Chandler, Kense, & Cameron Helm, Greg, Brandon, & Freddie Caldwell. There will be a celebration of life, then the funeral service, followed by the burial at Michigan Memorial in Flat Rock starting at 9am.
