Enjoying Addison's Birthday Party

I knew Lori for almost 30 years. Lori was not just a friend, she was family. Lori's untimely passing has crushed so many of us to the core, but her impact cannot be contained in her short lifetime. Lori was a woman of exceptional courage and tenacity, a woman whose life story was as inspiring as her soul. She faced adversity with grace and celebrated times of joy with enthusiasm and delight.

Her kindness was unmatched,  her compassion endless, her laughter infectious, and her spirit vibrant. Lori never missed any of my children's birthday parties growing up, she would have done anything for them without hesitation, the true definition of altruism.  Lori always relished in our girls nights out!

Lori's absence leaves an unfillable void in our lives but her radiant spirit continues to shine brightly in our hearts,  guiding us, just as she always has.

Lori was a rare gem in this world,  a friend that one is lucky to have once in a lifetime.  And how lucky we all are to have had someone who makes saying goodbye so very hard.

Thank you Lori for the smiles, love, and memories that you generously gave to each and every one of us. The memory of you will last a lifetime. In the words of J.K. Rowling, "To the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure. " Have a great journey up there honey, I know we'll meet again.

I wasn't lucky enough to know Laura for very long but the impact of her positivity and humour will stay with me. She is and will be missed.
Lori was such a positive light. I loved learning about her and her perspective on work and the fun she had with her family. As promised to her, I'll be taking my kids to root for the red knight.  She is so very missed; and my heart breaks for her family. Many many hugs from all the Horrockses.
Laura and I at a canvas paint…

Laura and I at a canvas painting event. She was always so creative. We had so much fun. The most beautiful soul with the most loving family. I will cherish our memories forever. Sending all my love to the family. Rest in peace, Laura.
Though I did not know Lori well my impression was one of a person that is fun, sweet, energetic, smart, happy, and funny. A person with an amazing soul.  Unforgettable!!!
I am so glad I was able to be a part of Lori's life. She was strong and fought through so many physical ailments with a type of grit you don't find very often in people anymore. Lori was vibrant and cheerful but also had a fun mischievousness about her. She was a mama bear and sister to those who needed it. I will love her and miss her presence always.
