Laura's obituary
Laura Lea Garron, 60, of Lebanon, Oregon, passed away on December 10th, 2024.
Born in Lebanon on October 6th, 1964, Laura was a lifelong resident of the town she loved. She raised her three children, Desiree, Steven, and Zane Gregory, in Lebanon, where she instilled in them the values of love, kindness, and resilience.
Laura was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her three children, Desiree, Steven, and Zane, as well as her grandchildren Bailey, Carter, Aaliyah, and Kane Gregory. She is also survived by her sister, Brenda Garron Wilson. Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Kathleen Rodgers and John (Pat) Garron, as well as her brothers Chuck (John) Garron and James Rodgers.
Laura had a deep passion for arts and crafts. She loved making jewelry and was always creating something beautiful with her hands. She also enjoyed rock hounding, a hobby that took her on many adventures in search of the perfect stone.
Known for her infectious laugh and warmth, Laura had the rare ability to light up any room she entered. Her giggle was a trademark, and her spirit left an impression that will never be forgotten. She was immensely proud of her children and loved them more than words could express. Her love and devotion to her family were matched only by her generosity; she was always willing to lend a helping hand or give the shirt off her back to someone in need.
Laura was one of the strongest women to walk this earth. Despite the hardships she faced throughout her life, she always found a way to push forward, with courage and grace. Heaven gained the most badass angel when she was greeted at its gates, and there’s no doubt she’s already making her presence known up there with that contagious laugh.
A memorial service will be planned in Laura’s honor, and the date will be announced as soon as possible.
Rest in peace, Laura. You will never be forgotten, and your legacy of love, laughter, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew you.
