Laura grew up in the Portland area and attended Sunset High School before pursuing her passion for beauty and creativity. She earned an associate's degree in Cosmetology from Mt. Hood Community College, a testament to her talent and dedication to her craft. For 42 years, she was a beloved co-owner at TL Design, where she and her business partner provided expert hair services, retiring only recently in November 2024.

Laura met the love of her life, Jerrell Gaddis, over two decades ago. Their love story was one of unwavering devotion, and she was in his arms when she peacefully passed on Monday, November 25, 2024, embraced by love as God called her home.

A vibrant and adventurous spirit, Laura was the life of every gathering. She loved hosting events, crafting unforgettable parties, and mixing up signature drinks for guests, family and friends. An avid outdoor enthusiast, she enjoyed water-skiing, camping, and soaking in the beauty of nature. Her zest for life and meticulous planning made her the cornerstone of family celebrations and gatherings.

Laura’s memory will be cherished by her devoted husband, Jerrell Gaddis; her loving son, Calvin Louis Flax and partner Carly; her brother, Robert “Bob” Webb  and partner Carolyn; her nephew, Nicolas Francis Clements; Step- Daughter Peyton Gaddis: Step-Son Parker Gaddis and countless friends whose lives she touched with her kindness, warmth, and boundless energy.
