Laura was one of the most upbeat happy ,fun loving people I’ve ever met , she was like walking sunshine. The one thing I’ll always remember the most is how much she loves Jesus. She always had kind words and always good to everyone. She will be missed by so many. She used to tell me a story about her mom giving her her name. True to her story Laura Delightfully Lovingly lived up to her name.🌹❤️

I’m so very sorry for your loss. Laura was a sweet, fun lady. I lived on Alcott across the street from her and her family. My mother Dorothy Everett and her were good friends, and later working together at Chicago Bridge and Iron. I mainly remember her beautiful fiery red hair and funny personality. I’m sure my mom and her are catching up on old times!!
She was such a loving, giving person! I cherish the memories of her hosting Bible studies in her beautiful home. Her quick smile and sharp wit kept me laughing. Her generosity and compassion will be missed!
Praying for you, Jill, for I know you ache for her in your heart!
I met Laura when she was working as a Realtor years ago. She was always a joy to be around. Always happy and up beat. She loved her family and loved life beyond what words can express. We shared a love for doves as she was a pet and bird lover as well. Rest in peace Laura you are Loved and missed by many.

Such fun we had...meeting as co-workers, becoming dear friends. I love her dearly, and it breaks my heart that I won't see "My Missy Laura" again...But she will always be with me. We shared sooo many good times. No doubt she's already in heaven, stirring up a bit of fun! As we say in the south, she was "full of spit and vinegar"...Full of life!
My Mom had a beautiful soul. She loved everyone she came in contact with and would give to anyone in need. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Laura was such a special lady, one that I will always remember as being kind with a feisty attitude. She enjoyed life and tried to find the good in everything. Her walk with our Lord was clear and demonstrated daily. My thoughts and prayers for her beautiful family.
Talking to animals and babies - Her many voices and the way she recited poetry using inflection was so unique. If there was something small she could love, she would change her voice real high and smoother the creature to near death. I remember she would sneak small critters into her work places and anywhere she could. One specific time, she had a baby bird she was nursing, and she placed it in her office chair, got distracted and came back and sat down - "crunch." Bye-bye birdie. She was devastated, but all I can do is laugh right now.
