Laura, I always looked forward to our conversations and miss you so much  I  hope you know what an inspiration you were for others!

Happy Heavenly Birthday! - Mary Jane

Laura & I were floor mates, then roommates at ISU. She was always loving and kind. My best memories: how much she loved her mother, father & brother. Her father thought the sun, moon, & stars rose & set on Laura. When she was dating Pat, they were so smitten with each other - it was adorable. She loved Neil Diamond, Dolly Parton & John Lennon & I must admit, I became fans of Neil Diamond & Dolly Parton too ( who doesn't love John Lennon).

My heart breaks knowing she is no longer with us. I am better for having known her.

I was so sorry to hear about your mom. I loved hearing your stories about the two of you. Aside from making me laugh, it was always clear how much you both wanted what was best for each other.  I’m thinking of you and your family during this time.
