Latonia's obituary

Miss Latonia Todd, affectionately known as Tonia, was the beloved baby of our family. She was born in the early morning hours of Christmas Day, December 25, 1978, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Nelson and Thelma Todd.

Tonia accepted Christ at an early age, and her faith remained a guiding light throughout her life.

She graduated from H.W. Byers High School in 1997 and went on to complete coursework in Logistics, preparing for what became a successful career in International Global Logistics. Her professional journey began in Memphis, TN, and later continued in Louisville, KY.

Later in life, Tonia discovered a passion for arts and crafts, which led her to pursue entrepreneurship and express her creativity through her work.

Tonia departed this life on Friday, October 31, 2025. Even in her passing, she gave the precious gift of life to others through organ donation—a true reflection of her generous and loving spirit.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Morgan Clark and Lexi Todd of Memphis, TN; her granddaughter, Mallori Clark of Memphis, TN; her sisters Marilyn Todd of Peoria, IL, Doris Johnson, Patricia Todd, and Tiffany Todd of Memphis, TN, and Cherry (James) Hill of Michigan City, MS; her brothers Carey and Kevin Todd of Byhalia, MS, and Nelson (LaShondra) Todd of Collierville, TN.

She is also survived by her aunts Geneva Todd, Ora (Lincoln) Chalmers, Shirley Todd, Dorothy Todd, and Rena Todd, all of Byhalia, MS, and great-aunt Maggie Kuykendall of Chicago, IL; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She shared a special bond with her dear friend, Mark Jones-Rushin of Memphis, TN.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Nelson and Thelma Todd, her brother Tobey Todd, and her sister Debra Todd.
