LaTasha's obituary
LaTasha "Tater" Crawford, of Springfield, WV, passed away Sunday, October 02, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
LaTasha was born on December 31, 1986 in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of David L. Crawford and Rhonda J. (Horn) Crawford. LaTasha graduated from Hampshire High School, Romney WV in 2004. After graduating, she worked different odd jobs, enjoying the variety of life and the thrill of learning new trades.
LaTasha is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Jean Horn; her paternal grandparents, Charles and Anna Crawford; her half-sister, Heather R. Crawford; and her half-brother, Shane D. Crawford.
Besides her parents, LaTasha is survived by her beautiful daughter, Micaya Rae Murphy of Colorado; her sister, Krystle R. (Crawford) Prichard and a special brother in-law Robert J. Prichard Jr of Pennsylvania; her nieces, Kiara R. Crawford and Skylar F. Prichard; her nephews, Brendan K. Prichard, Christian A. Nave, Zackery L. Nave, and Shaun A. Delizio. She is also survived by her bonus Pap Jim Junkins, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
LaTasha enjoyed much in life; music, singing, dancing, drawing, photography and so much more! She was an all-around thrill-seeker. She was a devoted mother and had so much compassion when it came to her daughter and family. With a big-heart, no matter the circumstances, she had sympathy for many and would give anything to help. LaTasha will be missed immensely by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends were received on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM at the Shaffer Funeral Home in Romney, WV. Funeral Services immediately followed in the funeral home at 1:00 PM. Interment was at Branch Mountain Cemetery in Three Churches, WV.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Shaffer Funeral Home~ 230 East Main Street~ Romney, WV 26757 were considered to help offset funeral expenses.
