Larry W. Tesch, age 80, of San Manuel, Arizona, died Wednesday January 5, 2022, at Oro Valley Hospital, Oro Valley, Pima County, Arzona.
Larry Wayne Tesch was born on March 20, 1941, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Emil and Ruth (Westover) Tesch. Larry played football and wrestled during his high school years. After graduating from Beaver Dam High School, Larry proudly served in the United States Navy during the Viet Nam conflict aboard the USS Bennington aircraft carrier, was honorably discharged after serving four years. Larry enjoyed his time with his family, riding ATVs in the desert with friends, remodeling his 2 homes in Arizona and his prior home in Wisconsin, going to casinos to play slot machines and helping others with home repairs. He was united in marriage with Elizabeth Bock on 6 September 1969 in Highland, Wisconsin. Larry worked at Briggs and Straton as a maintenance electrician in Milwaukee until he retired. Larry and Elizabeth lived in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin before moving to their retirement home in Arizona.
Survivors are his sons Carson (Jane) Tesch of Oklahoma, Chad Tesch of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, brothers Douglas Tesch of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, Roger (Judy) Tesch of Cedar Point, North Carolina, grandson Gregory Tesch and granddaughter, Tori Tesch, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth on 1 January 2022, daughter, Brenda Jane Tesch in 2018, his parents, brothers Robert F. Westover and his wife Anna, William R. Tesch, and sister-in-law, Sheila Tesch (wife of brother Douglas). There will be no funeral or service. Larry chose to be cremated.
