Larry Riggs age 72 of Sparta, Michigan passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday August 31, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Elois Riggs, his son Keith Riggs, daughter Christie Riggs and great granddaughter Lillian McCune.

Larry leaves behind his loving wife of thirty-two years Trish Riggs and four children Melissa (William) Van Pelt, Melinda (Shauna) Hawley, Adam (Rebecca) Armstrong, and Andrew Armstrong. He is survived by twenty grandchildren with one on the way, and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by a dear friend and son in law Tim Hawley, two sisters, one brother, and many nieces and nephews.

Larry was a family man, who loved the outdoors. He always enjoyed riding his Harley, going fishing, hunting, and playing golf. He also, enjoyed traveling to many places with his beloved wife Trish. Larry had a beautiful stamp collection and liked finding new stamps for his collection. He also, loved his Michigan sports team’s including Detroit Tigers and Lions. Larry will truly be missed by his family and friends and those who were close to him.

A Graveside Service will take place on Monday September 12, 2022 at 1pm at Resurrection Cemetery located at 4100 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, MI 49509.
