It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Larry McCrae Sr., who left this world on March 27,2023. Born on June 24, 1962, Larry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Larry was known for his bubbly and warm personality, which endeared him to everyone he met. A true family man, one of his greatest accomplishments was taking care of his family and spoiling his one and only daughter, Lashanta. He cherished spending time with family and friends, but his grandchildren held a special place in his heart.

A man of simple tastes, Larry enjoyed Mac & cheese, fried chicken, and Pepsi soda. He was a fan of Slow Jams music, and loved watching True Crime Stories on television. He was an ardent supporter of the Philadelphia Eagles and enjoyed playing the board game Sorry. His favorite recreational activities included spending time with his loved ones, especially at his favorite local spot, Larry's Bar.

Larry's favorite vacation destination was Atlanta, Georgia, and his favorite color was blue. He lived by the principle "Do unto others as you would want done unto you," and his legacy of kindness and generosity will live on through the lives of those he touched.

As we mourn the loss of Larry McCrae Sr., let us remember the joy and love he brought into our lives, and celebrate the memories that we will forever cherish. May his spirit continue to inspire us to be kind, generous, and to always appreciate the precious moments spent with our loved ones.
