Larry’s love for life was immeasurable. He never met a stranger and was the life of the party. Larry loved to cook, whether it was in the kitchen, on the grill or the boiling pot. It was his way of getting family and friends together for some good times, good eats and friendship. Larry was a sports fanatic and loved his New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers. He also loved fishing and playing golf and we can’t leave out a day at the casino. We would be remiss not to honor the legacy that Larry left behind in true friendship. His favorite spot was the Beer Box, where you would find him enjoying his Budweiser with lots of his treasured friends.
The family would like to thank the wonderful people from Concerned Care Hospice for all their kindness and guidance. And a special thank you to all the friends and families that reached out to Larry as he was fighting a fight that he could not win as hard as he tried.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Larry’s honor at the home of Bill and Becky Darby, 675 Old Spanish Trail, Slidell, La, on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 3:00 p.m.
