Larry's obituary

Larry Joe Dunkin Jr. 51, of Gardener Kansas was surrounded by family and friends leading up to his last moments peacefully passing away at Olathe Medical Center on January 4, 2025 with his sister Michelle Dunkin by his side.  He was born on June 28, 1973 in Kansas City Mo to Larry Joe Dunkin and Debra (Sumptur) Dunkin.

Larry loved to travel and spend time with his friends growing up.  After the birth of his 1st daughter Macy,  he found a love for carpentry, being his only career most of his life.  With this knowledge he made every home a dream home for his family.

Larry donated to several charities.  He could and always wanted to make a difference in the world.  His biggest donation was the time & love he gave his family & friends.

Larry is survived by his mother Debra Freeman,  step-father Gerald Freeman, sisters Michelle Dunkin & Stacey Dunkin Alleman, brother Shane Dunkin, step-mother Betsy Dunkin, his significant other Kelli Fuller, his children Macy Dunkin Nichols, Kennedi Dunkin & Cooper Dunkin, grandchild Noah Nichols, aunts, uncle, several cousins and a niece & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Larry Joe Dunkin, uncles William Dunkin Jr, Randy Dunkin & Richard Dunkin, grandmothers Mildred Dunkin Holsworth & Jo Ann Willis and great-grandmother Ida May Sumptur.

His infectious smile will be missed by all.
