Larry's obituary

It is with great sadness we announce that Larry Vance Compton, age 61, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at his home. Larry was nicknamed "Caine" by a long time neighbor while growing up off Howard Rd. in Waxahachie, Texas and was called "Baby Caine" by his father. Larry had an incredible sense of humor and always had everyone in the room laughing. He really was the life of any party. We will remember him most for his moonwalking through the house to Michael Jackson songs, the regular and quite good, Elvis Presley impersonations and his loud, rambunctious love for the Dallas Cowboys. He was born October 21, 1960 in Dallas, Texas to Billy Ray Compton and Janice Compton. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Compton; his children: Presley Compton Holmquist, Chance Compton, Gerrick Compton, and Taylor Compton Marwitz; his grandchildren: Caiden, Olivia, Kyle, and Kane; his brothers: Tommy, Ray, Richard, Steven, and Bobby; sisters in law and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Ray Compton and Janice Compton; his brother, Billy Joe; and nephews: Duane, Jonathon, and Aaron. A graveside service is scheduled for Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Italy Cemetery.

Flowers may be sent to 1401 E Marvin Ave, Waxahachie, TX 75165 and will be transported to the service.
