Larry's obituary

A loving husband, devoted father, son, brother and very proud papaw, Larry Burcham, 66, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born September 24, 1951 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Barbara (Reid) and Norman Burcham. Larry graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1970. He had a passion for motorcycles and enjoyed racing motocross. Larry had a zest for life, a laugh so contagious, and a heart of gold. His grandchildren were his world, he dedicated most of his days watching two of his granddaughters Raelynn (11) and Addisyn (7) who kept him very active on frequent bike rides and walks around the neighborhood with their dog Prina.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Anita (Platt), their son Wesley; their daughter Whitney (Kenny McCullough); stepdaughters whom he raised as his own Lindsay and Mackenzie Williams; his four grand-daughters Taylor, Kira, Raelynn, and Addisyn; his two grand-sons Tristin, and J.J.; brothers Ron (Nancy) and Mickey (Susie); and his loyal dog Prina. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Lee(2017), his father, Norman Vestal Burcham (1990); and his dog Baby. Take a moment to hug your child, grandchild and or loved one. Tomorrow isn't promised. Larry will be extremely missed by his family and the many friends he gained throughout his life. A celebration of life to be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Lynhurst Masonic Lodge 1239 S. Lynhurst Drive Indianapolis, Indiana 46241 from 2:00pm-6:00pm and a dove service at 3pm.
