I was truly blessed to serve as Larissa's teacher at Silver Sands School for several years. She was a truly unique human being who brought joy and inspiration to all who knew her. When I was Larissa's teacher, her grandmother, "Granny," was very much a part of Larissa's life, and I spoke with her frequently. I have no doubt that Granny welcomed Larissa with open arms when she went to Heaven.
Melissa, we are so very sorry for your loss.  I love hearing about your sister and from them know she was a truly special person.  We are thinking of you and your family.

The sweetness and the sassy in this photo...

Larissa was a force in this world that no one could match.  Her light, humor, and joy for life are etched into my memory forever.  One of my favorite  Reese memories was spending the day together when I was in high school.  The laughter that ensued that day was on another level.

We started our day with breakfast, which, of course, she spits (ON PURPOSE), all over me to insane laughter, anything for a laugh! Then we decided to go to the movies, where someone had dropped what sounded like a giant bag of marbles, echoing through the theater like a toddler had just set off a marble-powered earthquake.  She and I laughed so hard that we had to leave the theater.  And I think we can all agree, her laughter was the best sound in this world.

There are a thousand memories I could share, and let's be honest, I will share them forever.  But I hope we all approach life with a sense of humor and joy like my sister always did.
