I'm so very sorry for your loss. Laney and her beautiful smile will be greatly missed. I'll always remember tubing the Yampa where the phrase "river don't like fatty" was coined; skiing (boarding) das Boat where I just about ran Steve over who had parked on the backside of a large pine on Closet or Shadows; enjoying a fine dinning experience at Cafe Diva where Laney was our server; and attending a concert at Howelsen Hill with Laney and her Dad. Thank you Justin for bringing Laney into our lives.
My deepest condolences to Justin and the rest of the Malavolta family. Laney was such a great person and will be deeply missed. Spending time with Laney and the rest of the girls group golfing was something I looked forward to each time. She was so determined to continue and improve her golf game. Even if she was struggling, she still had a big smile on her face. I treasure students like her! She was definitely taken way too soon. Life is very harsh sometimes. I hope that you can take comfort in having each other in these difficult times. Justin, please let me know if I can do anything. I am so sorry this happened to you all.
I remember how anxious Jan and Steve were for Lane to be born. The excitement, love and anticipation for the next chapter in their lives as parents, and what an incredible blessing she was. Smart, loving, curious. Beautiful like her mom. Creative like her dad. Janice and Steve raised an incredible woman, daughter, friend, and professional. The world is a better place because Laney was in it. Rest well. 💔🙏🏽

My deepest sympathies to the family, extended family, friends, co-workers, associates and everyone else touched by Laney. She is a wonderful, kind, sweet and positive spirit and will be missed by all who know her.
My deepest sympathies. I met Laney when she was nine, when I started working with her father. She was always such a joy and it was wonderful to see her grow from that fun little kid into a beautiful and vibrant woman. She will be missed.
