Lance Edwards Evans, 57, of Alliance, passed away suddenly early Saturday morning in his home Lance was a native of Gary, Indiana. He was known for his happy go lucky smile and his jolly laugh. He was an avid magazine collector that held pride in his many complete sets of near mint vintage magazine collections.  Lance truly loved to fish, hunt, and do anything outdoors and shared this love with his best friend and companion, his hunting, Whiskey. Surviving is his wife, Karen (Blair), their two daughters, Haley and Hannah,and his only son Hayden (Surface). He’s proceeded in death by his mother, Isabella (Spitzer), father Thomas, and infant brother, Jeremiah. Service's are this upcoming Wednesday, February  28th,  at The Murray-Wellington Funeral Home in Alliance. Visitation begins at 10:00 AM, and the graveside services will begin at 2:00 pm at The  Fairmount Memorial Park and both are open to anyone wishing to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations to St Jude Hospital for Children in Lance’s name.
