We all miss Lakshmi Ji and relish her life in her family and coworkers.  Wishing Eswara and children the good memories of her remarkable life of grace, sacrifice and love.
My heart breaks for my dear friend's family.  We are truly missing a genius.  When I first met Lakshmi, I was the new hire at Rohm and Haas in Technical Sales.  She had to teach me the science of Paint biocides.  Boy that was a rocky start! But it fast grew into a mutual friendship filled with respect and adoration on my part.  She may have been small in stature but what a GIANT in the industry.  She will truly be missed.

Dear Easwara. I hold you close in my thoughts at this sad time. I am deeply sorry for your profound loss.

I remember Lakshmi's innumerable interventions at our IBRG meetings, and also the joyful moments we spent in Athens and Prague after the technical meetings. God bless you and your family. A big hug from Nagoya Japan.  Javier Takahashi

Lakshmi was one of my first mentors when I started my career at Rohm and Haas.  She was kind, wise and generous.  She enjoyed her career and cared deeply about people.  I also admired her when she courageously took control of her career, opening her own lab and quickly earning the trust of her clients.  She was a role model for women in science.  Thank you Lakshmi!

Lakshmi & Eswara Sadasivan and us, We have been neighbors for more than 26+ years. They have always been friendly and helpful neighbors.

Lakshmi was very courageous, intelligent, energetic and outgoing person. Always anxious to help anybody who needed help. During covid pandemic, she, her sister and her friends prepared thousands of masks and distributed them to many people free of charge.

Once she told us a story about her college days in Sagar. The boys in her college, used to call her "Dilli Wali Billi"(a cat from Delhi) because of her strong opinions. But it would make more sense to call her "Sherni"(lioness or tigress). Because she was fearless. Because she would not bow to anybody. Unfortunately, the last attacker tricked her and she had to surrender.

We will miss her. We will think about her everyday when we look out of the window, when it is Diwali time we will miss her delicious snacks....

May God bless her and may her soul rest in peace.

Our heartfelt condolences to Eswara, Sunil, Awanti, Arav, Sahas, Prashant and Aishwarya. May God give them strength to get through this very difficult time.

God bless.

Dilip and Mrunal Nene

I worked with Lakshmi at Rohm and Haas, and I’m saddened to hear of her passing.  I remember her as an expert microbiologist and a kind and cheerful person.  I send my condolences to her family.
Mrs. Sadasivan was like a second Mom to me.  Prashanth and I grew up together, and became best friends, and Sunil and my older brother also were best friends.  Whether it was family barbecues, Christmas parties, or hanging out in the basement at the Sadasivans, she was a welcoming and warm presence all throughout my childhood.  You'll be dearly missed, Mrs. Sadasivan
I’m so sorry to hear this terrible news. She was lovely and loved teaching. I had such a wonderful time in her laboratory because she wanted to show me everything with enthusiasm and delight.

I worked with Lakshmi at Rohm & Haas.
She had a way of explaining complicated subjects in a way we could understand it.
She was a wonderful person. My condolences to her family.

I did not know Lakshmi very well but she was the kind of person you could talk to for 5 minutes and feel like you knew her all your life.  I spoke with her a few times, over the years and she just left a truly wonderful impression on me.  I think the last time I saw her was at a coatings show.

Hard to explain how someone could be so outstanding without standing out.  If you knew her, this will make perfect sense to you.   A truly beautiful person inside and out.  I hope to meet again in the next life.

My condolences Sunil to you and family.  I fondly remember Lakshmi and her cheerful personality when we worked together at R&H. I was happy to see her success later as an entrepreneur.  She was an inspiration to me.

Lakshmi’s smile, and enthusiasm for balavihar teaching are etched in my memory. She taught my children and countless other children with the kind of energy that inspired those around her.

We think of and pray for the family .

Lakshmi was a generous and supportive co-worker. She will be missed.
I was Lakshmi’s colleague for a short time as a Balvihar teacher and kept in touch off and on. She was loving, enthusiastic, curious, and always eager to learn. In spite of her academic and entrepreneurial achievements, she was humble exemplifying “Vidya vinayam dadaatu”. May the family have the strength to bear the loss. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti
You left us, my friend! I wont forget you. I will always remember coming back with a smile after meeting you. May God give you Sadgati. Om Shanthi.

Lakshmi loved children, and couldn’t wait to hold my twins (with ease!). She was excited for her first grandchild, Arav, to arrive.
