Ladealia's obituary
Ladealia Finks, born in Carthage, Arkansas, on March 29, 1934, peacefully passed away on February 29, 2024, in Tampa, Florida. She was the cherished daughter of the late Oliver Daniel Finks and Leary Irene O’Hara-Donahue. Ladealia was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Leari Finks, and siblings Earnesteene Glover and Duane Donahue. She is survived by her sons, Ayo Ale-Finks, and Raymond Finks, as well as her sister, Lurrene Beard.
Having spent many years in Chicago, Illinois, Ladealia dedicated herself to various roles in the education and social services field. Ladealia had a deep love for literature and enjoyed expressing herself through writing. She often shared her thoughts and affection through heartfelt letters to her loved ones.
Ladealia will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Cristina, Leary, and Victoria Ale-Finks, as well as numerous family members and friends whose lives she touched. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts. Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024, at 11 am at Light House Refuge Christian Refuge located at 1919 New Hope Church Road Monroe, GA 30656.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Light House Refuge Christian Church in Monroe, Georgia, in honor of Ladealia’s memory and her faith. A short gathering will take place at her son Ayo's home on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 7 PM, providing an opportunity for friends and family to share their memories and celebrate Ladealia's life.
