On Saturday, July 18, 2020, Lacey Marie Trzeciak passed away at the age of 47. She was born on October 5, 1972 to Larry and Barbara Trzeciak (Chasko) in Valparaiso, Indiana.

Lacey was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Barbara Trzeciak, and her grandparents, John and Philomena Chasko and Ted and Pauline Trzeciak.

She is survived by her children, whom she loved very much, Katie Rushing and Kelly Rushing, her siblings Larry (Stacey) Trzeciak, Mark Trzeciak, Laurie (John) Belcher, Kyle (Abagail) Trzeciak and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lacey had a big heart, she loved her family and she loved to laugh. Laughter was the gift she gave freely and it filled every room she walked into. Her child-like joy and love for people never left her, nor did her ability to find the absolute best in people. Her personality gave life to every conversation, and her ability to make people feel like they belonged cannot be replaced. While we don’t easily understand and we are heartbroken by this loss, her struggle is over and she’s at peace.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
