Kip's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kyle "Kip" Collins, a beloved son, brother, and friend, on September 13, 2023. Born on May 2, 1991, Kip lived a life full of creativity, kindness, and adventure.
Kip is survived by his mother, Loretta Collins, his father, Mike Collins, and his siblings Kenny Collins, Nicole Mobley, and Tea Collins. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Tucker, who was more than a pet, but a best friend.
A man of simple pleasures, Kip held a deep appreciation for steak, potato chips, fruity candy, and pie. He enjoyed the refreshing taste of iced coffee, often coupled with a good book such as "Harry Potter" or "What We Owe Each Other".
Kip had an eclectic taste in music, cherishing the works of Sara Bareilles and The Gospel Whiskey Runners. His favourite TV shows included Once Upon a Time, The Good Place, Schitt's Creek, and How I Met Your Mother. His taste in films was equally broad, ranging from anything Disney to horror films like The Babadook. He was also a big fan of the Harry Potter movie series.
Kip's favorite pastime was playing games such as Kingdom Hearts, Dead by Daylight, Resident Evil, and The Legend of Zelda. He loved playing board games and card games with his friends and family. He cherished musicals, such as The Greatest Showman and the Little Shop of Horrors musical rendition.
Kip was a lover of the outdoors. He loved to take walks with Tucker and was fond of several vacation spots, including Seattle, Disneyland, and Wyoming. He loved the beauty that these places had to offer.
Known for his adventurous and kindhearted nature, Kip made a significant impact on those around him. One of his great accomplishments included the creation of "Apophenia", a short film musical which he wrote, directed, and shot. His untimely passing leaves a void in many lives.
He will be deeply missed by his dog, Tucker, his family, and his friends. His spirited personality, loving nature, and boundless creativity will forever remain in our hearts.
