Kurt's obituary
Kurt was born to William and Joanne Harris on August 31st, 1964 in Omaha, NE. As a child, he enjoyed spending time at the beach and surf fishing. He attended Lee High School where he played junior varsity and varsity football as a center. He also enjoyed swimming on the relay team with the Ashford Forrest Swim Team. Kurt was an entrepreneur at heart even from a young age. He was known auction his lunch on the school bus on a regular basis to make money.
Kurt met his wife, Pam in the summer of 1992 at a mutual friend’s cookout. After an instant connection, they married in 1994 and together have 4 children, Tommy, April, Ryan, and Kevin. Together they lived in the greater Tahlequah, OK area for 25 years.
In 1995 , he started his own construction business, Helping Hands Maintence Service. He was a man with a servant’s heart for others.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving father, Kurt also loved to work and serve his family and the local community, barbecuing, and passing along the many life lessons to his family and loved ones. Throughout his entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Harris; his sons Tommy, Ryan, and Kevin; his daughter, April; two grandchildren; his parents, William and Joanne; four siblings; Athena, Michele, Holly, and Kevin; and many close friends.
